Prepare before you report
Are you going to carry out road transport operations in Sweden for an operator established outside of Sweden? If the driver performs road transport services for an operator established outside Sweden, you must submit a posting declaration in the EU's Internal Market Information System (IMI).
You need to have this information ready when you register
You need to report the posting to the Swedish Work Environment Authority before the employee has started their work in Sweden. Keep track of what information you should provide so that your notification is correct.
Information when creating an account
Login details
- E-mail address for login.
- Password.
Details of the posting undertaking
- Full name of the company.
- Company registration number in the country where the company is established.
- General e-mail address of the company.
- Postal address.
- Country in which the company is established.
- Industry according to the EU standard NACE.
- Specific legal form (indicate whether the company is a temporary employment agency or a sole proprietorship).
Contact details of the authorised signatory
- First and last name.
- Identification number (personal identification number, passport number or other unique official identification number).
- Phone number.
- E-mail address.
- Postal address.
Information when you report a new posting
Who receives the service in Sweden
The one who receives the service in Sweden that the posted worker is to perform is called the recipient of the service. The recipient of the service may be:
- a company or organization with which you have an agreement
- a private individual who hires your company.
If the recipient of the service is a company or organisation, enter the company name or organisation number. Then select the correct service recipient from the list which is linked to Statistics Sweden's business register.
Address to the workplace in Sweden
Is the workplace missing an address? Select the address closest to where the workers carry out their work or the address where the workers start their work day.
If the work is carried out in several locations, you must submit a new report for each workplace.
Data for each worker
- Identification number (personal identification number, passport number or other unique official identification number).
- First and last name.
- Industry code of the work being carried out according to the EU-standard NACE.
Time period
Indicate the start and end dates of the posting regarding each worker.
Employment relationship
You need to specify the situation:
- The employee works under a business agreement with the recipient of the service.
- The employee is hired out directly to the recipient of the service.
- The employee is hired out through another company abroad before being sent to Sweden.
Contact person in Sweden
You must appoint a suitable contact person who can have contact with Swedish authorities and trade unions.
The contact person shall:
- be available in Sweden for the duration of the posting
- receive documents of service on your behalf, such as decisions and other documents from Swedish authorities
- send documents when the Swedish authorities request evidence that you as an employer comply with the rules when posting.
The contact person is not directly liable for your business and has no legal responsibility in their role as contact person.
You need to provide the following information of the contact person:
- First and last name.
- Personal identification number or date of birth.
- Postal address in Sweden.
- E-mail address.
- Phone number.
What happens when you have completed your registration?
- You will receive a confirmation that we have received your posting report to the e-mail address you have provided for your account. In the confirmation you will also see the information you have provided to us.
- You should provide documentation to the service recipient in Sweden that the posting has been registered with us. You must do so no later than the day on which the worker starts their work in Sweden. Documentation may, for example, be the confirmation you receive from us.
- Remember to update your report if any information changes.
